Greetings! My name is Dawn Palumbo-Madera, a licensed mental health counselor and addictions professional currently working from the state of Florida providing services to individuals residing in Florida and South Carolina. I entered the field of behavioral health after the events of 9/11/01 seeking greater understanding behind human behavior. Working with adults struggling with depression, anxiety, trauma, addiction and/or emotional dysregulation are among the diagnoses I have specialized in over the years and have found an eclectic approach utilizing cognitive behavioral therapy, dialectical behavior therapy, and motivational interviewing as treatment modalities that are empirically sound in the management of such diagnosis.
